A few people have asked about my “to-read” list…which usually includes a large number of business and marketing books (fun right?). So I picked out a few fun reads. Jess already pointed out to me that most of my book choices are not fiction, which is a great point, so I should probably say that my goal is to read more books outside business and marketing genres 🙂 Here is my video of my picks for this month:
The first book on the list is a memoir (Wait Til Next Year by Doris Kearns Goodwin), so not technically fiction but is a long way from the business books I normally read 🙂 http://amzn.to/1j8xMvY
For a funny, entertaining read, I chose Scythe Does Matter by Gina X. Grant. It’s the second book in the Reluctant Reaper Series: http://amzn.to/1gRCGfY
Round the Bend by Jeremy Clarkson (the guy from the UK version of Top Gear) talks cars, current events, and stuff that annoys him. Probably also not technically fiction 🙂 http://amzn.to/1jOdjPI
A road trip across North America in 100 days to see every bit of nature they can find? Wild America by Roger Tory Peterson (of those Peterson Guides) and James Fisher (a British naturalist). http://amzn.to/1jCooQL
I’ve been cooking a ton – and since I eat paleo, was pretty exited to win a copy of this book: Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfilippo http://amzn.to/1oNkmJa I got this book from the Paleo Paramedic Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/ThePaleoParamedic (please go like her page now!) and check out her blog http://paleoparamedic.wordpress.com
